My father just turned in his Toyota 4Runner and is looking to charter a new one. He previously expressed that the previous SUV was a little taxing on his back and that it had way too much power for Florida… Now he's looking for a 4 cylinder or a small 6, and it has to be Offroader in view of the fact that he does surfing, etc… + it's the solitary large vehicle in the house, I drove his SUV quite a few times to transport possessions around as I own a Toyota Prius and my spouse a Scion Xa.

Nonetheless, the budget; it's definitely under US $32k taking into account taxes plus fees.
He liked the GMC Acadia, but it does not have sufficient bite, the Turbo version has admirable engine capacity and handles great, but for that much he feels he can do better.
He chanced upon a terrific deal at Volkswagen for a Jetta SportWagen 2.5L 5 cylinders… but he has a reliability concern given that our Audi Q7 and VW Cabrio were regulalrly breaking down. I recommended that through a 48-month charter he shouldn't have any troubles (in contrast to driving the Audi like he did for about 5 years).
We also though about the recent Chevrolet Equinox, a very enjoyable car, you could feel superiority all over if you choose to explore this vehicle… My father even said that he would have purchased the SUV already if it wasn't because the salesperson was such a nincompoop… I feel after taxes it gets to $30k or so, however he seems to be partial to the car very much.
I feel he prefers the VolvoXC60, I'll get him to test it out, its cost seems within reach.
Any suggestions? k to k or so? The Volkswagen Tiguan feels like a bad choice and consequently I told him not to bother checking that, and the Murano is too high-priced.
